Poptropica is a comic strip created by Paul Gilligan and Kory Meritt centered around the misadventures of two young boys, Jorge and Oliver. They are thrust into the mystical world of Poptropica when a science fair project goes wrong and a portal is opened into said world. The storyline of the comic doesn't follow the apparent continuity of the main story of the two, as in MotM (the main story), the characters fall into the world from a balloon.
